I am receiving an abnormal amount of spam to my default email address and would like only specific email addresses on my domain to be active. How can I do this?
You can disable your 'default' email account in Cpanel by setting it to :fail: to throw away all unrouted mail. This way you will be receiving mail only to those addresses that you create in Cpanel. All mail sent by spammers to random email aliases not existing on your domain will be discarded.

This is a recommended email configuration.

More details are available in Cpanel documentation: http://www.cpanel.net/docs/cp/index.html
